What to Expect from Dental Bonding and Contouring
Bonding and contouring is usually completed in one visit at our office in Naples, FL. You shouldn't need anesthesia, but options for sedation may be discussed at your consult if you have any anxiety or a strong gag reflex. As soon as you're comfortable, Dr. Gardy will begin applying the composite resin to the desired teeth with the help of one of her team members. The bonding material will be hardened with a special light before more layers are added. After the layers of composite resin are set, Dr. Gardy will shape and polish the material and your natural enamel for an even appearance.
